First Platformer

"The First Year" is where I show what I have done in school during (you guessed it) the first year.

For this project, we had to make a platformer so we learned about character movement, melee attacks and some basic enemys.

My idea was to give the player the ability to change between reality and a dark dimension. The dark dimension could have some extra platforms to help the player progress through the level but could also have some extra obstacles and enemies.

Started to work for the first time with the Animation system and tried to do a boss fight better than the last one.

Player Features:
- Jump and Double Jump;
- Dash that makes invencible;
- Ranged attack (Shurikens) that consumes stamina (yellow bar);
- Melee attack;
- Ability to change between dimensions;

*ENEMIES*
Wolf:
- Patrols a short area and damages the player by touching him.

Spirit:
- Exclusive enemy from the dark dimension;
- Follow the player when he enters the dark dimension;
- Can pass through walls;
- Damage the player by thouching him;

Blue Ninja:
- Fires a projectile periodically;
- Always looks in the direction of the player;
- Stands still;

Boss:
- Has 3 different attacks and teleports randomly after every attack;
- Sends electric crosses at random heights that damage the player;
- Calls spikes from the ground that damage the player;
- Calls meteorites from the sky that damage the player.

REMINDER that every asset was taken from the Internet for a school project.
