Crazy Cooking Channel

Crazy Cooking Channel is a mobile game that was developed as the final project for the Videogame Design course on ETIC_Algarve.

The idea was created by Rute Xavier and the school placed me in her group because I already had some experience on mobile games. While Rute created all the assets, my job was making sure everything was working.
Unfortunately, the game was made during the pandemic and everyone was working from home, which affected the group performance. Nevertheless, everyone seemed to enjoy the game!

As the programmer, I created 4 mini-games:
- Pancakes, where the player have to control the pan with motion controls and flip the pancake with swipes. Time events tell the player when he has to flip and the faster he reacts, the more points he gets. Also, when landing the pancake, the closer it is to the center, the more points he gets;
- Orange Juice, where the player needs to tilt the orange container, by tilting the phone, to pour orange juice into the moving glasses. The more juice the glass has, the more points the player gets;
- Cereals, where the player controls the bowl with motion controls and needs to catch the falling cereals. The cereals have different speeds and the faster the cereal, the more points the player gets;
- Fruit Salad, where the player controls the bowl with motion controls and needs to tap the flying fruits. After tapping the fruit, it divides into pieces and the player needs to catch them in order to get points.

I also developed most of the Main Menu, Options Settings, Lives System, Score System, Reward System, Scenes Management and Advertisement.
